Overview of Salesforce Einstein and Einstein GPT features
On November 21st 2023, I presented an “Overview of Salesforce Einstein and Einstein GPT Features” to the Amsterdam Salesforce User Group. This post collects the key resources from that session - starting with the presentation slides.
What’s in the Einstein family
Salesforce Einstein has grown from a set of predictive scoring features into a full AI layer across the platform - predictions, recommendations, automation, and now generative features under the Einstein GPT umbrella. For architects, the practical question is less “what can Einstein do” and more “which of these features are generally available, which are pilot/beta, and what does enabling them mean for data and the trust layer.”
Resources from the session
- Salesforce Einstein AI Solutions - Salesforce’s product overview of the Einstein platform across Sales, Service, Marketing and Commerce Cloud
- Einstein for Developers - a Visual Studio Code extension that brings Einstein’s generative capabilities directly into Apex and Lightning Web Component development
- Winter ‘24 Einstein GPT released features - a rundown of what shipped in that release
- Einstein GPT release dates - Salesforce’s official timeline for general availability of the Einstein Trust Layer and related GPT features
